From ACRLog: an interview with Jenna Freedman, Barnard librarian and one of the founders of Radical Reference and the Barnard Zine library.
This is a great interview with Jenna in which she discusses the zine library she developed at Barnard, her work with Radical Reference and activism in general.
I first heard about Jenna Freedman from the February 2007 piece in University of Hawaii’s Basement Blotter. I think she’s an inspiration to young librarians who want to effect change both within the system and outside of it.
